Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Droppoint's email hosting services. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Service description

Droppoint provides business email hosting on your own domain, including mailbox provisioning, DNS configuration assistance, spam filtering, backup and technical support as described on our website and Pricing page.

Account responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate and complete account and billing information
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy

Service availability

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime for Business and Enterprise plans as described in our SLA. The SLA defines how uptime is measured, what is excluded, and how service credits work.

Payment terms

  • Fees are billed monthly or annually in advance as selected at signup
  • Annual billing includes two months free
  • Mailbox additions are prorated for the remainder of the billing cycle
  • Invoices are due on receipt and payment must be made within 14 days
  • Accounts with overdue payments may be suspended after 14 days notice

Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you must add a payment method to continue using the service.

Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time from your admin console or by emailing support@droppoint.xyz. After cancellation, your mailboxes remain active until the end of the current billing period. Mailbox data is deleted within 30 days of the billing period ending.

Data ownership

You own your email data. Droppoint does not claim any rights to your email content. You may export your data at any time via IMAP.

Limitation of liability

Droppoint's liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dhaka.
