This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of Droppoint's email hosting services. By using Droppoint, you agree to comply with this policy.

Prohibited uses

You may not use Droppoint's services to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or commercial messages to recipients who have not opted in
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software
  • Engage in phishing, spoofing, or impersonation of any person or organisation
  • Send email that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Harvest email addresses or personal data from third-party sources without consent
  • Use the service to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to other systems or networks
  • Store, send, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Resell or redistribute the service without a partner agreement

Sending limits

Droppoint enforces reasonable sending limits to protect the shared infrastructure and the sending reputation of all customers. Accounts that consistently exceed normal business email volumes may be contacted to discuss dedicated sending arrangements.

Spam and abuse

We actively monitor for spam and abuse. Accounts found to be sending spam or engaging in abusive behaviour will be suspended. Repeated violations will result in account termination.

Enforcement

Droppoint reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Where possible, we will notify the account holder before taking action. In urgent cases (e.g. active spam campaigns or security incidents), we may act immediately.

Reporting abuse

To report abuse originating from a Droppoint-hosted mailbox, email abuse@droppoint.xyz with relevant headers and details.
